EARLY 19TH CENTURY FRENCH NOVELTY GOTHIC BRASS MANTEL CLOCK - Rare
This clock sits on four sturdy brass feet. There are three brass bands around the case engraved with Latin inscriptions:
Pater Noster Qui Es in Caelis
Dominus Vobiscum
Et Cum Spiritu Tuo
Inside is a quality 8-day French movement and platform escapement that is regularly wound with the original clock key that is attached to the top handle by a delicate brass chain.
This lovely old clock stands approximately 8" high.
It is approximately 5.3" wide with a 5" depth.
